Armafix becomes Armaflo: Explaining the story

This year we’re celebrating our 15th birthday, so we’ve decided that it’s time to rebrand to a name that reflects the business we’ve become. We’re changing from Armafix to Armaflo!
Here’s why…
We started out in 2008 as a fixings company. Our founders had wide experience in the fixings industry and decided to establish their own fixings business, providing the trade with great service and strong product knowledge. That strength of service and expertise in fixings lay behind our name, Armafix.
As the years passed, though, we found ourselves increasingly supporting the M&E sector and developing specific expertise in that area. That’s steadily grown, and we’re now exclusively focused on first-fix M&E. Even Unistrut regard us as the containment people of the North, so that proves that we’re serious about M&E.
We’re more than just a general fixings company and we want our name to reflect that…
So, why Armaflo?
We didn’t want to move a million miles away from what we were. We’re stronger than ever in our service and expertise, so the ‘Arma’ was still relevant. And, in fact, many of our containment products provide some protection to the services that they’re carrying, doubling the relevance.
But we’re now dedicated to supporting hardworking independent contractors to complete successful M&E installations, which enable the smooth flow of electricity, water and air (ventilation). And our iron-clad commitment to dependable next-day service with no nasty surprises, ensures the smooth flow of your project as well.
That’s where the flo came from in our new name Armaflo. Removing the ‘w’ just makes it a bit more memorable, we think.
What does this mean for me?
Nothing else has changed – we’re the same team, operating from the same headquarters, and delivering the same unrivalled experience. We just have a new name and identity that better reflect the industry-recognised specialists that we’ve become.
We hope you agree it’s a positive change!
